By WRAL/AP OMAHA, Neb. — Wake Forest (47-10) claimed the top overall seed Monday when the NCAA announced the field of 64 teams to vie for the College World Series. The Demon Deacons won the ACC regular-season championship and lead the nation in wins. They will host a regional that includes George Mason, Maryland and Northeastern. In addition to the Demon Deacons, six other North Carolina teams made the field. In South Carolina, two regional sites will see two North Carolina teams meet starting Friday.
