College of Charleston and coach Pat Kelsey are headed for the Myrtle Beach Invitational basketball tournament in November, while famed coach Rick Pitino and St. John's will headline the 2023 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic at TD Arena. The Cougars, who won 31 games and played in the NCAA Tournament last year, will take on Vermont at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 16 to open the Myrtle Beach Invitational at Coastal Carolina's HTC Center. That game will be followed by St. Louis vs. Wyoming, Wichita State against Coastal Carolina and Furman against Liberty.
