Heading into the spring season means many high school students are looking for their home for the next four years. In North Carolina, there are plenty of options when it comes to colleges, some of which have been ranked among the best in the nation. Three NC schools ranked inside the Top 50 of the U.S. News Best National University Rankings. The list ranks the top schools around the country. Duke University was the highest-ranked school in the state, coming in at 10. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University tied for 29th.
